Day 01 : Delhi
Report
by 1630 hrs at Delhi Cantt Railway Station to be greeted by a warm welcome &
escorted to the Maharaja Train. Dinner on Board.
Day 02 : Jaipur
Royal welcome by Elephants & morning excursion to 16th Century Amber
Fort Palace & ride on elephant back. Time free to shop for precious
stones & semi-precious gems. Lunch at Rambagh Palace Hotel,former
residence of Maharaja of Jaipur. Afternoon visit to 18th century Royal
Observatory & adjoining 19th Century City Palace & museum. Dinner on
board.
Day 03 : Jaisalmer
Morning visit the living "Golden Fort" town built in 12th
century. Lunch on Board. Evening excursion to Sam Sand Dunes for Sunset
Camel ride,followed by cultural show & dinner.
Day 04 : Jodhpur
Morning visit to One of the Grandest Forts in India-the Meharangarh
Fort,with series of Gates,courtyards & palaces & nearby Royal
cenotaphs-Jaswant Thada. Lunch at Umaid Bhawan Palace Hotel,rated amongst
the most luxurious Palace Hotels in the World. Dinner On Board.
Day 05 : Ranthambhor & Chittorgarh
Early
morning visit to Ranthambhor Tiger Reserve. Lunch on Board. Afternoon visit
to the ruins of Chittor Fort,originally built in 8th century & abandoned
in 16th century.This fort,built on a sprawling hilltop epitomises the
romance,pride & valour of the Rajput warrior clan. Dinner on board.
Day 06 : Udaipur
Day excursion to City of lakes & "Venice of the East",founded
in the 16th century by the former rulers of Chittorgarh. Lunch at 18th
Century built, former royal summer palace, Lake Palace Hotel located on an
island. Dinner on board.
Day 07 : Bharatpur,Fatehpur -Sikri & Taj Mahal
Morning visit world famous - The Taj Mahal, poetry in marble - in Agra.
Lunch on board. Afternoon visit Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary at Bharatpur. Dinner
on Board. Late evening depart from Bharatpur for Delhi
Day 08 : Delhi
After breakfast bid adieu to the Maharaja Train.
